Meet your designer

Mary Adekoya set up DEKO (Design Empowering Kingdom Outreach) due to having a desire to be involved in Christian ministry, using design to communicate and reach out to others with the gospel.

Founded in the hope to partner with churches, Christian organisations and publishers in their work to build up believers and share God’s word, by offering a tailored design service to suit their needs.

As an established designer, her work is concept driven and experimentally crafted. She uses design as a tool to thoughtfully engage, problem solve and emphasise the importance of storytelling across print, screen, and space to shape, refine, and elevate your brand’s communication.

Her professional background has been across multiple sectors including real estate, education, publishing, and not-for-profit organisations where she has gained transferable skills to collaborate on a range of projects.

Mary is based in the Midlands, and a member of a local Evangelical church.
